Few days ago I came across the Group: The Activerain Bronze Star Hall of Fame ... What? Did I miss the opportunity to add my humble activity to such great group of people? I guess so.
It all started in 11/19/2006 when I was Invited to ActiveRain by: Steve Harless (Las Vegas, Nevada). For few month I did not even look into it... Well! I said. Just an other Blog... At that time I was struggling to maintain and publish posts in 2 of my other blogs: WordPress Blog and REW Real Estate Blog.
It was very instrumental for me to work on those 2 Blogs so that I knew how hard is to maintain, monitor and handle comments... not to mention to get ranked on search engines. I have to say that between my web site the blogs and daily job it was my decision to set the priorities. So, I left behind the blogs and posted only occasionally here and there.
I was never addicted to bloging! Considering the time, discipline and energy needed to stay on top of a blog. IT WAS NOT FOR ME.
After few month coming back to ActiveRain and searching the site I started more and more to feel a new temptation and curiosity. So, I kept coming back over and over until one day... IT HAPPENED! I just felt ready for the new experience. This time was different...
And indeed it is amazing what ActiveRain did for me. I am sure IS NOT FOR ME ONLY... everyone on this great professional community feel the same. I hardly believe that I reached the 50.000 points... When that happened? It was so much fun, easy and rewarding. So much to learn, meet great people and get that comfortable feeling that you belong to a family, you are not alone.
There are few people I need to mention here as they were for me a real inspiration and motivation to keep going up and stay on my track.
- Mary Warren, Las Vegas Real Estate - She inspired me to keep going and be my best. Great lady and great sense of humor. She has what it takes!
- Ken Nimmo (Coldwell Banker Brothers Realty). He was the first to welcome me to ActiveRain and made me feel less intimidated.
- Jacqulyn Richey - Las Vegas Real Estate. I am her biggest fun... I single it her out, long before ActiveRain, when I was struggling with my website to get search ranking... She was all over the place. Very outstanding real estate agent and a great animal lover!
- Renee Burrows - NV Real Estate- Sassy, smart, professional a great communicator. I envy her writing talent and ability to take any subject and turn it into something interesting.
It is not the 50.000 points to be celebrated but something more valuable the great opportunity to stay connected within our profession and get informed, educated and updated in all aspects...
INFORMATION, EDUCATION is the key to SUCCESS.

Let me be the 1st to congratulate you.. 50,000 points is a milestone, but i agree its not about the points. Its about the collective knowledge, the people and the connections that bring all the rainers together.
I'm struggling to keep my presence alive in AR. I seem to get busy with my day and theres always a reason whey I dont get a chance to blog as much as i'd like. The inspiration I get from reading blogs like yours gives me the shot in the arm to keep going..
