Vegas Grand up for sale, but no official asking price stated; bids due June 12

What one time was a luxury condos the Vegas Grand Condominiums in Las Vegas is now up for grab.

Luxury Condo Midrise-Lowrise - The Vegas Grand Condominiums - is a Mediterranean-style towers with open floor plans, volume ceilings, oversized terraces and private balconies, with careful attention to every detail. The condos feature a serene ambiance and private enclave.

Vegas Grand is a $325 million Italian inspired luxury condo development on Flamingo Road , just east of Swenson Street .

The 20-acre, 212-unit Vegas Grand development will accept offers starting June 5.

Bids for the near-completed $72 million Vegas Grand are due June 12.
Vegas Grand, the local condominium complex in foreclosure, will finish construction next month. The project is up for sale, with bids due on June 12.
Although the Vegas Grand was originally envisioned as luxury condos, the property is now expected to be used as apartments, time shares, student housing or hotel rooms.

Meanwhile, mid and low-rise development offer a solution to the valley's future workforce housing solution.

There is no official asking price but about $107 million has been spent so far on the development...

Vegas Grand is close to the Strip, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Convention Center.

US sneezed... Europe catches the Cold?... Remedies under way or NOT!!!

But today, European shares fell sharply on the first day of trading in March, with the Dow Jones Stoxx 600 index down 1.7 percent, bringing it back near the low it had reached on February 11. In Germany, the national DAX 30 index lost 1.4 percent, and Deutsche Bank shares were down 1.7 percent. The French CAC-40 and the UK FTSE 100 indexes also lost comparable ground. Though some European countries are experiencing growth (Eastern European Countries), recent house-price figures indicate that, things in Europe are deteriorating in a fast pace.  Interest-rate increases by the ECB are largely to blame for European housing market downturn.

 
Oil, Iran and Afghanistan will be key issues for Mr Bush

Today US President George W Bush arrived in Slovenia what is his farewell U.S.-European Union summit as his last European tour... His broad agenda includes the economic concern and further cooperation between US and European Community.  NOTE: He is also expected to seek support for tougher financial sanctions on Iran.

The U.S. economic slowdown is being felt around the world. During the Bush presidency, the U.S. dollar has lost roughly half its value against the Euro.
